 Yale - Forklift Fuses

Yale forklift fuses are essential to a healthy forklift. The fuse consists of a metal wire surrounded by a nonflammable material. The fuse element is made of aluminum, copper, zinc, silver, or alloys to provide stable characteristics.

The electrical system of your vehicle is something that you will not care too much about until it breaks down! And then the bulbs stop working, the wipers refuse to work, the fan goes on a sudden stop and so on. Apparently, an electric appliance may have a lot of reasons not to go but if it happens without any other sign, think about the fuses.

Any electrical installation needs, among other things, a continuous circuit to operate. Vehicles have these fuses placed along the electrical circuits to prevent possible damage due to overheating or overloading. When the bulb, fan, windscreen wiper will require a stronger current than required for normal operation, the fuse will melt, interrupting the circuit and protecting the consumer.

Some details to know when changing a fuse:

Always replace the faulty fuse with one of the same current value. Higher value can lead to Murphy's law "the consumer who destroyed himself, protecting the safety" and one too small can burn instantly, not allowing the consumer to power the nominal power.

If the new fuse continues to burn, check if it has the appropriate value prescribed by the vehicle manufacturer. If so, then the problem is deeper and you have to go to a vehicle workshop. DO NOT attempt to place a fuse with a higher value than the one prescribed, as this could lead to the destruction of the electrical installation and the fire.
