Unsolicited electronic messages and commercial emails are commonly referred to as spam. Also known as junk email, spam email, mass email, direct email, and bulk email, spam is basically a message that promotes products or services sent to an individual without their approval.

 

Unsolicited Bulk E-mail (UBE) or Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (UCE) is other common terms used to refer spamming.

 

UBE can be defined as the exposition of substantial numbers of unsolicited postings or email to news groups via a large delivery system. UCE can be defined as the delivering of any message through email to anyone you don’t personally know, unless it is a response for an information requested from you.

 

Social networking spam, comment spam, search engine spam, and several other spam types also exist, which are created and distributed with the sole intention of amassing and dominating websites with opinions, links and information, which are in no way related to the content of the website.

 

Solid Lift Parts has ZERO TOLERANCE over any or all of these types of spam.

We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL), “An Act to promote the efficiency and adaptability of the Canadian economy by regulating certain activities that discourage reliance on electronic means of carrying out commercial activities, and to amend the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act, the Competition Act, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the Telecommunications Act.”

 

Our spam policy is stern and WILL BE imposed for the benefit of all parties involved. We do not send emails unless an individual has expressed an interest in our products and/or services or information, or alternatively has proactively or directly requested it.
